4. Miba Dredge
This is a 6.2 cu ft (175 litres) diamond bucketline dredge weighing 1300 tonnes and capable of digging to 33 ft (10 m). The rated annual throughput is 1,600,000 cu m. This dredge was constructed in Malaysia and shipped to Zaire. The dredge was erected by OCIE personnel at the mining site at Mbujimayi, Zaire.

5. Petaling Dredge No. 9
This is a 5600 tonnes bucketline dredge equipped with 24 cu ft (680 litres) buckets and digs to a depth of 130 ft (40 m). The rated annual throughput is 7,000,000 cu m. The dredge was constructed at the mining site in Malaysia.

6. Mambang Di-Awan Dredge
This is a 9 cu ft (255 litres) bucketline dredge weighing 1300 tonnes and digs to a depth of 72 ft (22 m). The rated annual throughput is 1,800,000 cu m. The dredge was constructed at the mining site in Malaysia.

7. Heinze Dredge
This is a 12 cu ft (340 litres) bucketline dredge weighing 3050 tonnes and digs to a depth of 48 ft (15 m). The dredge is fitted with on-board generating sets. The rated annual throughtput is 2,700,000 cu m. The dredge was constructed in a shipyard in Singapore and the completed dredge towed to Burma. The dredge is designed to operate both in the open waters of the basin and in the tidal fringes.
